Hello. I am using the Serenity theme for the following site: http://www.roxannelumme.com. I would like a static homepage, and for the posts feed to appear on the blog page. In the Settings > Reading section I have set the front page to display a static page (Home) but when I set the posts page to blog (http://www.roxannelumme.com/blog) I get a blank page with 2 empty widgets. The only way I can figure out to get the posts to display is to link to a custom link: http://roxannelumme.com/category/blog/. But then the permalink is weird, I want the blog to appear at roxannelumme.com/blog.
Would appreciate some direction here, confused by the theme, thanks!http://roxannelumme.com
You could rename the home.php file to front-page.php and then create a new page using the blog page template from the Page Attributes drop down menu and select that as your posts page.
I don’t have a copy of your theme to test this.
