ok I have a few issues one the font on the front page seems way to large how to make the font smaller and two I am working on my custom menu’s I created them in the apperance–menu area and then assigned it to the Top spot but it does not look like the theme. And lastly how do I get my social links in the sidebar like shown in the preview of this theme it shows them as black clickable boxes

Please see the theme setup instructions.

I also need to make the fonts on the frontpage smaler in my Metro theme. I looked at the setup instructions (http://my.studiopress.com/setup/metro-theme/) as you suggested Andrea. But I can not find anything on that page conserning font size.

Font size in controlled in the style.css file of every theme. That is why it is not mentioned in the setup. It is also considered customization.

I also find these things with Firebug. It’s an invaluable tool for looking at the HTML source of your site as well as the css. It will even let you test changes before making them live.

The social buttons are just text in a text box. Here you go… Any link in a box can be made to look like a button with this.

    <a class=”social-buttons” href=”http://www.google.com”>Google</a>
