Greetings-
I am finally getting time to address an issue that came up with one of my websites after updating to the new Genesis framework. The website I am working on is at http://www.visibility911.org.
The first problem has been somewhat intermittent as it has came and gone a couple of times. If you visit the site, the home page is a blank white screen....nothing. I am able to log in to the WP back end but don't know where to begin to fix this.
Secondly, the inner pages DO work. So if you go to http://www.visibility911.org/about/, for example, the page works fine with the exception of the second problem I am dealing with since the update, which is that the header has been moved over to the far left instead of centered. I was able to find the offending line of code using firebug, but could not find it in the CSS or any other file for the fix. It seems all the other pages work fine (with the exception of the header issue) including all the blog posts.
Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

a) In wp-config.php, change
define('WP_DEBUG', false);
to
define('WP_DEBUG', true);
Refresh your site's homepage, note any error message that appear and try fixing them.
b) Deactivate all plugins by renaming plugins directory to say, plugins-temp.
c) Take a backup of .htaccess and if it's different from the standard one, replace it with the standard one.
2) Add the following at the end of child theme's style.css:
#wrap #header { background-position: center top !important; }

The header fix worked! Thank you.
As far as the blank white home page, no luck yet.
I opened the wp-config.php and there was no line at all for define('WP_DEBUG', false); I added the line define('WP_DEBUG', true); and noticed nothing obvious. Nothing at the home page.
I deactivated all plugins but no change with the home page.
I tried replacing the .htaccess file with the standard one and got the following error-
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Thank you again for anyone who can assist!

1) Replaced all the junk (that's what I refer to code that plugins like "Better" WP Security and "Bullet"Proof inject) from .htaccess with the standard one.
2) Commented out the following from wp-config.php:
define('WP_CACHE', true); define( 'WPCACHEHOME', '/home/vis911/visibility911.org/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/' );
