    When I try to ‘Choose a File’  file inside WordPress, the file ‘opens’ when I click on it instead of being selected so I can then click on Upload. How do I get the file inside wordpress to UPload it?

    If you are trying to INSTALL GENESIS you need to go to Appearance –> Themes –> and then select the INSTALL tab. Upload the file from there.
