    I am trying to get my images strait and for some reason it keeps cropping the images on the slider and leaves empty space … any help would be appreciated!

    You slider is set at 1040px while your images are 920px. The slider will not “upsize” to make them fit. Your images need to be equal to 1040px or larger to fit.

    Go to the slider settings at the bottom – make sure you have 100% where it says “Slider Excerpt Width.” If it doesn’t fix it – use the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin and run it. That will probably fix it.

    I am having the same problem….”fix” above did not work. I know it’s not an image width issue because the excerpts (set for 100%) are displaying the same way–about 40px of white space left at the right hand side of the slider. http://www.yokid.org/wpdev

    Oh and I forgot: if the browser is minimized, then the slider DOES fill the entire area.

    Having the same issue here – only I’m not seeing the problem in Google Chrome or Safari – only seeing it in Firefox ver. 21.0.

    This same issue is also happening with the theme demo in Firefox 21.0, so it’s not a css issue on my end, but in the original child theme somewhere.

    The answer from Studiopress support:

    Please edit your style.css file and find all instances of box-sizing: border-box; and edit it like this
    -moz-box-sizing: border-box;
    -webkit-box-sizing: border-box;
    box-sizing: border-box;
