    Hi,

    I have dug around and cant find the answer to this in the prose theme I want a static home page with content in the top and the latest  articles excerpts below it, how can I achieve this ?

    One quickie way to do it would be to use a sticky post for the static content that you want to appear on the top of your home page.

    Another way to do it would be to add an additional widgetized area at the top of the home page, then use widget(s) to set up your static content.
