I have searched the web for a solution to this and see other people have the same question and even in this forum, but never a really clear answer except tweak this CSS to move them.
I just used the <!--nextpage--> tag for the first time and my Related posts and social plugins are displayed above the page numbers generated by the <!--nextpage--> tag. Even with me putting words to the effect of "use the page links below" looking at my stats, one person tried 7 times to view the same page and couldn't figure out how to click the page links below even though I had styled them with a much bigger font and bold. So there has to be a better solution and with Genesis, I figured it has to be somewhat easy to work with all child themes.
In the meantime, I have taken away the nextpage and made it one long post, so it doesn't help to point to a post.
How can I get the page break numbers to appear right after the text and above the other plugin content?

You could hook it in using a custom function and.or conditional tag
Another option is to create a custom field in the hook position you want to displays the links.
Its a function native to WordPress and is very easy to customize in Genesis.

post content
Pages: 1 2 3 4
Related plugin
Social pluginWarning, I have only modified some of the child theme's code so it's still somewhat new to me. Pointing to examples of code would help greatly. Thanks!

<?php wp_link_pages(); ?>
(???) in a custom field.July 22, 2014 at 12:23 pm #115432Brad DaltonParticipantI thought you where referring to the <!–nextpage–> tag?
wp_link_pages(); won't work in a custom field.
July 22, 2014 at 1:13 pm #115438dcwebmanMemberI didn't think PHP would. I can easily add nextpage tags in a long post. But that's not going to move the resulting line showing the different pages of the long post like:
Pages: 1 2 3 4 5
up above the Related and Social plugins content.Here's a quick image I found online of what I'm talking about:

October 16, 2014 at 11:38 am #128022Brad DaltonParticipantAre you referring to single post navigation links: ( next and previous post links )
Or are you referring to archive page pagination?
October 16, 2014 at 11:57 am #128023marketing91MemberI am referring to single post navigation links. Here's the thing. I want the pages column (Pages 1,2,3,4) to show just after post content.
I am glad you answered because i saw your answers in several places. But i absolutely do not know designing. And i do not know hook functions. In fact, i was searching for a genesis job board where i could outsource to someone.
Here is my URL, of my blog. http://www.marketing91.com/marketing-mix-bata/
It shows how the Single post NEXTPAGE navigation is showing way down, just above disqus comments.Here is my target navigation for single posts. http://www.mbaskool.com/fun-corner/top-brand-lists/9859-top-10-it-companies-in-world-2014.html
Which is possible through a basic plugin in JOOMLA CMS. It is also possible in wordpress, with a bit of changes in the CSS for nextpage. I can change the CSS. I know a bit of it. But i am absolutely unable to change the position of the NEXTPAGE pagination.
So bottomline - How do i change the location of the NEXTPAGE navigation to just after post content.
