Hi, I am trying to reduce the width of a line separating the sidebar widgets. Here is the URL: http://symmetry.xl-websites.com/?page_id=9

I used a background colour for the sidebar, gave the widgets 10px padding but the bottom borders don’t respond to the request. I did try adding 10px to the sidebar itself, but it mucks up the design when viewed on a smart phone.

Is there a css trick to get the border lines to reduce in size, say to 80%?

    Thanks – Seb

Thanks SoZ0. It did not work, but it made me discover a workaround that I am happy with, so the problem is solved. I have added some other styles to widgets that may have effected the side widgets, I will try implementing your solution when I start my next theme.

    Thanks – Seb
