Going a little nuts. Bought Genesis a few days ago. I’m definitely no coder but I’m familiar enough with hooks and stuff that I thought I could figure it out (*thought*).

    See screen shot

    ‘GENESIS FRAMEWORK’
‘Supports HTML5 and Mobile Responsive Design’

Have no idea how to get rid of this, used the Visual hook plugin, looks like it’s just genesis_site_title and _description.

    remove_action( ‘genesis_site_title’ ); does absolutely nothing.

This also isn’t even what I have as a title and a tagline for my site so I’m pretty sure I’ve got something messed up.

    Can someone help?

    Thanks,

    Rob

I believe that’s set as a default logo image in two places within the Sample child theme’s CSS. Do you have the option to upload an image in Appearance > Header? If not, check your Genesis settings to be sure it’s set to dynamic text instead of image logo.
