I must be missing something here. How do I remove the "Leave a Reply" box from some pages on the Agentpress Pro site? For example, I don't want this box to appear on my embedded house search page. And I don't want it at the bottom of the menu pages. But I do want it on any actual post page.
Thank you!

Genesis > Theme Settings > Comments & Trackbacks > Un-click enable comments on posts
Let me know if that works 🙂

It doesn't "really" work. I can remove the Comment on Posts or Comment on Pages using the Genesis settings. But that's not what I want to do. Some pages can include comments and some cannot. All posts can include comments.
What would be most helpful would be a template choice where one could check either enable or disable comments. Some posts should get comments and some should not. Similarly, some pages could get comments and come should not. I'm not a fan of the all or nothing sort of settings.
I can rearrange things a slight bit to make this work, but it's not really a solution over the long run.

On the post / page edit screen, click on Screen Options at the top right.
Check Discussion

Scroll down the page to the Discussion tab.
Check / Uncheck to Allow Comments

The Screen Options pulldown at the top of a screen affects the way the current screen is displayed, not the options for a particular post/page from what I've seen. I did play with this originally thinking I'd found the magic solution, but no go. In other words, the choices in the Screen Options menu do not save with the page or post, merely the display used while creating the item.
June 22, 2016 at 2:08 pm #188060ChristophMemberThe screen options show or hide different setting tabs.
If you select to show a tab, that tab will be shown for the user every time that screen/page is opened. The discussion tab will either disable or enable comments for the post / page you are editing.

Selecting Discussion in Screen options will just show the Discussion tab on the edit post / page screen.
You still have to actually go to that tab to de-select Allow Comments.
