I am using the Executive theme and would like to remove the main navigation from just the home page. I am using a widgeted home page that shows my latest posts.

I have found code for functions.php that should remove the nav from one specific page, (http://www.studiopress.com/forums/topic/how-to-remove-navigation-menus-from-a-certain-page/) but I need the page id to use it. My home page does not show up in the admin dashboard, so I don’t think it has a page id. Help here? Much appreciated.
add_action(‘get_header’, ‘child_remove_genesis_do_nav’);
function child_remove_genesis_do_nav() {
if (is_home()) {
remove_action(‘genesis_after_header’, ‘genesis_do_nav’);
}
}
Paste this code into your child themes functions.php file at the end.

Backup your functions file first.

Do you think there is a similar code for removing footer from home page, but leaving on inside pages?
