Also, you may notice that my header now shows a "deleted / removed image" picture in place of my old header. This is because I deleted the picture from Photobucket. I didn't think it would have any greater result, but was hoping it might magically make the problem go away. Now I just have an even uglier header!
If you hit me up on my contact page (shown in my signature) with your user name and password, I can take a look for you (you can create a temporary user name for me if you prefer)
Update for the resolution of this issue. The Genesis Simple Hooks plugin was installed, and that contained the header image code in Genesis_do_header.
