Tagged: removing sidebar
I have managed to remove the appearance of the primary sidebar from all pages. However, there is still a blank space where the sidebar should be.
For example, http://www.amadorvalleyhs.org/?page_id=956
I saw and used this: http://www.studiopress.com/forums/topic/balance-theme-remove-sidebar-from-home/
But it removed both the primary and secondary sidebars on the page above. Is there something similar I could do for non-home pages?
Would a better strategy possibly be to create a new sidebar and implement that instead?
I used this in functions.php:
remove_action( ‘genesis_after_content’, ‘genesis_get_sidebar’ );
I could do that but I still want the secondary sidebar to display.
I tried setting the default layout to full width and also include a new sidebar but that didn’t work either.
Thanks, Sozo, I will try switching them out.
