Removing credits from the Generate theme

I want to remove the following credit links from the bottom of my generate theme:

GENERATE THEME ON GENESIS FRAMEWORK · WORDPRESS · LOG OUT

If you just want to remove that part of the footer, what’s known as the Credits, then this code, placed in your functions.php file should work:

* Remove Default Credits Text in StudioPress Child Themes
*/
add_filter( 'genesis_footer_creds_text', 'custom_footer_creds_text' );
function custom_footer_creds_text() {
echo '';
}
