Hey looks like a nice forum here and I’m hoping to learn a lot. I have a website currently running on the Church child theme and on the main navigation bar there is a tab that says “Follow Us On Twitter”.
I would like to remove this from the theme nav bar and have been looking for a way to do so without success.
Does anyone have some ideas I could try out? I would like to add another tab to my nav bar but cannot do so without removing this twitter thing.
Thanks for your help.

Hey Rob, thanks for the quick reply. Here is a link to the site in question.
I still want to keep the 3 buttons with facebook, youtube and twitter, just want to do away with the redundant ‘follow us on twitter” button in the nav bar.
Really appreciate your help.

Are you using a plugin in the header for your social icons?

No I don’t believe so. The three social icons at the top header were added using the theme’s widgets and just dropping the HTML code in.

I beleive you can disable the “Twitter Follow” from youe Genesis settings, there should be a dropdown menu with a few options.

Uh oh, I found the drop down menu you mentioned but when I made the changes to remove it, my entire header image / logo is now gone. Any ideas as to what may have happened? I am also not able to change it back!!

I’m not sure why accessing the Genesis setting would remove your header unless you choose that option. I know for some of StudioPress themes this option is available using this method. Check the Genesis settings again to see if you can add your header logo back.
