    Can anyone help me learn how to remove the links to the posts when I display full content on a category page? When someone chooses “show full content” in genesis settings, it would make more sense if the links to the post would be disabled automatically.

    I’m not sure if there is a fix for this through Genesis and I looked through previous forum posts and the Codex but I couldn’t find anything.

    Any help or info would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Jon

    try adding this code to your functions.php file :

    /**
     * Filter Genesis H1 Post Titles to remove link
     *
     */
    add_filter( 'genesis_post_title_output', 'ac_post_title_output', 15 );

    function ac_post_title_output( $title ) {

    	$title = sprintf( '<h1>%s</h1>', apply_filters( 'genesis_post_title_text', get_the_title() ) );

    	return $title;

    }

    Tried it on my testsite running Genesis 2 with the Genesis Sample theme.
    You can off course adjust the h1 with a css class to allow further editing…
