I often add sidebars to our child themes, and they always show up under the primary sidebar in the dashboard. Is there a way to force them to appear above the primary sidebar – up with the “header right” sidebar? I know it seems trivial since it’s a back end issue, but it drives my sense of order crazy not to be able to group them as I would like.
I don’t have a specific url, this is something that occurs on all sites.
Someone please restore my sanity!
You could use the genesis_before_sidebar_widget_area hook as this executes before the primary sidebar.

Thanks, but I’m not talking about where it executes. I’m trying to group them in the dashboard area.
