    Hello,

    I have an existing Genesis theme and would line to replace WP-Cycle with the Genesis Responsive Slider, don’t know how to modify the code.
    What would be the correct version of this line of code?

    add_action( ‘genesis_header’, ‘child_header’ );
    function child_header(){
    if ( function_exists(‘wp_cycle’) ) {
    wp_cycle();
    }

    Would I replace wp_cycle with responsive_slider?

    Thanks!

    Where exactly do you want to display the slider?

    Which position in your theme and on which pages?

    Hi Brad,

    the one above would go as a replacement of a header image, just for the home page

    I am also looking for a shortcode, so I can do it with hooks.

    Thanks!

    Hi

    Copy this code using the view raw link and paste it at the end of your child themes functions.php file using a text editor like Notepad++.

    Code not displaying? Grab it on Github.

    *Requires installation of the Easing Slider plugin.

    Thanks, Brad. Will try it out.

    Is [easingsliderlite] the shortcode to use when I e.g. use hooks?

    Thanks!
