Hi Thank you in advance for any input or advice.

I am using Legacy theme and wanted to ad a new slide to my home page. The new slide is displaying cropped and much smaller than the actual image. The image is the same size that the slider is set up for. I have been trouble shooting it and cant figure out what is causing this one slide to display different.

Any ideas on what is going on with it?

Again thank you for any help!

Depends on which slider you’re using and other factors.

I think the best way to add a slider is hook it in using PHP code.

    Hi Brad,

Thank you for getting back to me. I am using the Genesis Responsive Slider. This issue is only happening with the newest slide I have put on. The original four are working fine. I have tried using the same image that is in another slide and it displays cropped and small as well.

    Thanks for any input!

Make sure you crop them to exactly the same size before uploading as featured images.

Thanks for getting back so quickly. The images are the correct size. I have uploaded and checked it multiple times. I also have tried to use an image that is in one of the other slides and it displays incorrectly as well. I have double checked the setup and posts of the other slides and all is in order. Stumped!

I would try the free version of Soliloquy or Easing Slider Lite and see if that makes any difference,

Well I have been working on this for a bit and would like to figure it out. Especially since the other slides have been working fine. I have not had issues like this before with the Genesis Responsive slider. I think I will work on it some more. If all else fails I will try one of the sliders you mentioned. Thank you for your time I truly appreciate it!

@Focused.1, it looks to me that when you uploaded the image http://redlineautomotivegroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Staffed-automotive-sales-event-company.jpg which is 1,140px × 350px, it somehow got resized in WP to 428px × 181px and saved as http://redlineautomotivegroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Staffed-automotive-sales-event-company-428×181.jpg. Try setting up the slider with the URL to the original image (or maybe re-upload if that’s easier).
