    I’m having trouble getting a logo image into the header of the sample theme. I’d prefer to put a small logo image exactly where the site name text is in the demo. The header option (and the popular simple header plugin) just stretches the image across the entire header area. (I have a right hand header widget that it also stretches behind) Is there an easy way to upload a simple image and have it placed where I want, and not automatically stretched?

    I don’t have a logo there now because whatever I put up looks horrible.

    I just put a sample 450 wide by 60 height logo image up there as an example.

    Open up your Functions.php file and look for this:

    // Add support for custom header
add_theme_support( 'genesis-custom-header', array(
	'width' => 1152,
	'height' => 120
) );

    Change the numbers to your logo size and save.

    Did you re-upload your image? I forgot to add that to the instructions. Upload your header again.
