    Hello,

I’m running the Genesis Outreach Child theme and I’m trying to find a responsive photo gallery/portfolio plugin that takes over entire browser.  So far all the plugins I’ve tried out either remain constrainted by the theme or I cannot get them to work at all.

I’d like them to take advantage of the entire browser window.

Does anyone have any suggestions for plugins to look at?  I’d prefer a free one, but premium/paid certainly isn’t out of the question.

I’m also considering Piwigo or ZenPhoto, but I’d rather not have to worry about securing another product and dealing with another UI.  If I can keep all the management within WordPress that would be best.

    Thanks,

    Simon

My favorite responsive gallery plugin is MaxGalleria.  They offer a lightbox option when you click on an image which can fill the screen if you’d like.  Lots of custom options available in there to get the look and such that you want.

Can you explain more about what you’re seeking when you mention fill the screen?  Is this for a review gallery or something like that?

Weslinda do you have any genesis based sites with this plugin installed?

I like the carousel module included in Jetpack and Slim Jetpack.

Mike, absolutely. I have it implemented in my own site, very straight forward gallery. http://www.weslinda.com/headshot-portfolio/

We also did a custom configuration on a client site. All of the categories / pages on the left of images are MaxGalleria. We did change the presentation of the main image to a different configuration based on their desires, so it’s not stock MaxGalleria. Hope that helps. :0)
