Hi, I’m using the Simple Sidebars plugin and wanted to create custom sidebars for the 404 and search results pages. Have searched the web and this forum but can’t find an answer either using this plugin or otherwise.

    Help please!

    You could use conditional tags in the widget logic plugin field for those templates
is_404()

is_search()
Thanks Brad. But I couldn’t get that to work. I’ve managed to do it another way. That plugin has solved another sidebar issue I was having though so thanks for that.

    Brad, I take that back, I was being a moron. That is exactly what I needed. I can simple ditch the Simple Sidebars plugin altogether. And just use the Primary sidebar for everything by using Widget Logic.
