hi,
i'm using the 'simple social icons' plugin however the icons don't seem to be displaying properly. see the screenshot for what I'm talking about. can't post the URL as it's a local wordpress installation.
also when i add more icons they just stack vertically.
any ideas?

i've seen other people with the same problem on other forums but no real solution yet...
October 7, 2013 at 4:44 pm #65724RobGMemberAre you inserting it in a widget?

October 7, 2013 at 5:11 pm #65726RobGMemberIt's kind of hard to determine what's going on but it looks like the widget is in the center of your page.

http://www.robgoss.com / Follow me Twitter / https://twitter.com/robgossOctober 7, 2013 at 5:25 pm #65731dmcleod87Memberit's based on the genesis sample child theme but i've been modifying it. it's definitely not in the footer section, the widget is in the primary sidebar.
October 7, 2013 at 5:29 pm #65732RobGMemberFrom looking at the link you posted I can see the social icons and your About section, at the bottom of your page. It looks like the section you have the icons in is to small to accommodate the social icons.

October 7, 2013 at 5:50 pm #65744dmcleod87Membersorry i meant try the website again. also i just viewed in chrome and it's in the correct spot for me, just not displaying correctly.
October 7, 2013 at 7:05 pm #65763dmcleod87Memberjust an update to say i've fixed it.
have copied the CSS from the plugin and added it my child theme CSS file. that has sorted the vertical stacking of the icons and now the icons are appearing.
i'm sure all that wasn't necessary as i've had it working on other child themes but it works for now.
