I tested the Simple Social Icons plugin on the "test" version of my site, and it worked perfectly.
Now I tested it on the "live" version of my site in the exact same way (sidebar widget), but now it's doing some really strange things. Specifically, the icons are displaying vertically instead of horizontally, and instead of showing the Facebook, Twitter, etc. symbols, they're showing weird symbols for things I've never seen before. Like not social networks. Just strange random characters.
I deactivated the plugin so you can't see it on the live site. I could take a screenshot if it would help?
I've tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin a couple of times, but the issue remains.
Any ideas?

They should be side-by-side in that white sidebar widget box, but instead they are vertical, extending out of the widget container, and have strange symbols in them (they should be facebook, rss and twitter).

Try placing the icons in the sidebar widget and see if they display correctly. I trying to figure out were you have then not but can't pin point it.

The white boxes are the sidebar widgets.

I've used this plugin on another site running the exact same theme with the exact same customizations and it works without any problems.
