    Hi,

    I am using the Simple Social Icons plug-in and would like to use it in two different areas of my website, to me more specific I want to use a particular style for the home page and then a different style for the internal pages. Now as you all know this is not supported by the plug-in and I will need to do some custom CSS for it. Can anyone point me how I can do this? I know I need to use the ID of the section where I am using the Social Icons, I need help with the CSS naming so I can pick the right classes and combine this with the ID.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Brad,

    Thanks for your quick response, I had a look at the two URLs and used the following CSS:

    #simple-social-icons-2 .simple-social-icons .social-facebook a {
    background-color: #4965a0 !important;
    }

    #simple-social-icons-2 .simple-social-icons .social-facebook a:hover {
    background-color: orange !important;
    }

    I am sure this is incorrect. I have the simple social icons on the Primary Sidebar, do I need to include the sidebar classes into the CSS above?

    Also is that the right way of using the ID?

    Thanks
