    I use the Minimum theme and would like to have a single column of posts on the home page with a sidebar. How do I achieve that? I also then want to remove the bar under my header with Subscribe now. Thanks.

    To display a “normal” blog homepage, rename home.php in your theme’s folder to something like home-old.php. That will prevent Genesis from using the custom homepage template included with the theme, but the file will still be there if you ever decide you want to use it.

    To remove the opt-in, find this in your stylesheet:

    #page-title {
    background-color: #f5f5f5;
    border-bottom: 1px solid #e4e4e4;
    border-top: 1px solid #e4e4e4;
    clear: both;
    margin: 0 auto;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 30px 0;
    }

    and change it to this:

    #page-title {
    display: none;
    }

    Thanks for that. I have successfully removed the subscribe bar. What would a normal Home page look like? Like what I described above?
