    Hello, I am new to wordpress, and css. Working on my first site using education theme with genesis.

    My site title is not showing up correctly. It gets cut off halfway through the 2nd word. How do I fix this?

    Find this in your stylesheet:

    #title-area {
    float: left;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 27px 0 0;
    overflow: hidden;
    width: 400px;
    }

    and change the width from 400px to 600px. However, that will push down your header right menu, so find this:

    #header .widget-area {
    float: right;
    min-height: 95px;
    padding: 25px 0 0 0;
    position: relative;
    width: 740px;
    }

    and change the width to 540px. That should allow the whole title to show and keep the header right widget area inline with the title.

    Thanks!

    I definitely got more space up there, but it’s still not showing everything. How can I make the font size of the title smaller or not all caps?

    Find this in your stylesheet:

    #title {
    font-family: 'Vollkorn', serif;
    font-size: 48px;
    line-height: 1;
    margin: 0;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    white-space: nowrap;
    }

    You can take out the text-transform: uppercase; line if you don’t want all caps, and you can decrease the 48px to make the text smaller.
