Hello,
I have been trying to figure out how the responsive slider disappeared from this site at ancd.org. The slider is sitting well in the widget but when viewed from firebug it's not there and it's not displaying. I have deactivated plugins and even deleted some but still no luck. Please help if anyone has an idea how to restore it.

The error you note is related to the Genesis menu javascript. I do not see that error, so perhaps it wa stransient for some reason.
You appear to have another 'custom menu' plug-in from Evolonix loaded. (Evolonix does not have a working website: http://evolonix.com/wordpress/plugins/custom-menu/) (Your event calendar is also throwing an error but appears to be working OK). This could be conflicting with Genesis but probably wouldn't affect the slider - can your disable that plugin anyway for now?
You should also let us know what your slider settings are. For example what kind of post type is used? taxonomy? etc.

Where I expect to see your slider content on the front page I see this HTML only.
<div id="content" class="hfeed"></div>
This is exactly what I can recreate when the slider is taken out of the Home Featured widget area.
With the slider in the widget area, it looks like this:

There are all-in-one-event plugin and text widgets which are not displaying. They have been working fine for the past one year and suddenly disappeared. I have disabled plugins via the server side and then reinstalled. I have deleted several widgets but no luck so far.
My last option might be to switch to another brand theme perhaps it could help.

So you've got three (3) types of content not displaying ?
I see All in One event calendar in Sub-Footer-Left. Where is it not showing? What is the content and location of the missing text widget.
When a result is sudden, something has happened to cause it.
When did this happen? (the date)
What changed? New plugin? Plugin update? Genesis update? Server config? If you changed your theme, or brand of theme, the problem might go away. It probably would because you will have changed so much to enable that. But I don't think the theme, or the theme alone, is the problem.
Before you start a do-over at least figure out the answer to the questions above, and install the Sucuri plugin and run a malware scan. You could also contact your webhost to inquire about changes, scans and if others have reported anything similar.
Lets look at those results first.

It happened about a week ago and I have uninstalled all the updates plugins except the event plugin. However, I have disabled the event plugin once to see if tut helps but no luck. So I am not sure what else happened.
August 26, 2014 at 6:40 pm #121231dareadelParticipantOne more thing. At one point in the last week I used the changed the Debug code in the config.php to "true" and I have since changed it back to "false"
