    I am using Genesis with Executive as the child theme.
    I am having an issue across my site (www.preferredcustoms.com) were there is a large space by default under all my images. I found the following area on the style.css sheet that controls these parameters, but when I make an edit nothing seems to happen. Is there another area of coding within the stylesheet that overriders these controls, or is there something i’m missing….?

    This is the section of code on my style.css sheet for the image parameters…. someone please help.

    img.centered,
    .aligncenter {
    display: block;
    margin: 0 auto 24px;
    margin: 0 auto 2.4rem;
    }

    a.alignnone img,
    img.alignnone {
    margin-bottom: 12px;
    margin-bottom: 1.2rem;
    }

    .alignleft {
    float: left;
    text-align: left;
    }

    .alignright {
    float: right;
    text-align: right;
    }

    a.alignleft,
    a.alignright {
    max-width: 100%;
    }

    a.alignleft img,
    img.alignleft,
    .wp-caption.alignleft {
    margin: 0 24px 12px 0;
    margin: 0 2.4rem 1.2rem 0;
    }

    a.alignright img,
    img.alignright,
    .wp-caption.alignright {
    margin: 0 0 24px 24px;
    margin: 0 0 2.4rem 2.4rem;
    }

    Thank you,
    Joey

    I’m not seeing large spaces under your images. Did you fix this?

    doesn’t show what I’m talking about on the homepage…. check out this

    http://www.preferredcustoms.com/ace-alloy-wheels/

    within the main content area you will see the space below the first logo image as well as all the others lower on the page.

    also just noticed, for some reason the sidebar and header widgets don’t seem to always work correctly…. sometimes the most current content is shown, and sometimes it isnt. is that a caching thing or do I potentially have an issue somewhere on the site?

    please let me know what you think.
    thank you

    Add the following to the td tag
    padding: 6px 0 20px 0;
    vertical-align: top;

    and then to close up the space on your images – remove the margins on line 638
    a.alignnone img,
    img.alignnone {
    margin-bottom: 12px;
    margin-bottom: 1.2rem;
    }
