We have a subscribe widget in our sidebar which appears on several pages. The widget includes the client entering a password.

If I secure the page(s) that include the sidebar with SSL, (HTTPS plugin), is the data in the sidebar encrypted ?

In other words, is the widget code considered part of that specific page or do I need to do something else to ensure the password being entered is not viewable in the clear on the network ?

    Thanks

What type of subscribe box is it? Is it one you created internally say, using Jetpack Subscribe, or a third-party subscription box. Can you provide a link to your website so we can see it?
