    I’m working on a site that’s under construction so I have to use the demo to explain what I need help with. On http://demo.studiopress.com/streamline/ Below the 3 featured pages across the top and before the first post below it, my client would like a Title that says “Recent From The Blog” or similar. Since it’s not a widget based home page, I assume it has to be done in the home.php but not sure how? Help? Thanks!

    Add this PHP code to the end of your child themes functions.php file using a text editor like Notepad++. Copy from the view raw link.

    Code not displaying? Grab it from Github

    Change the hook location if needed. http://genesistutorials.com/visual-hook-guide/

    Another option is to use the Genesis Simple Hooks plugin ans simply paste your text or HTML into the correct hook field.

    You can then style the text using this sample CSS code:
    [css]
    .recent-blog {
    background: url("images/button-light.png") repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
    border: medium none;
    border-radius: 3px 3px 3px 3px;
    box-shadow: 0 1px 1px #A24A1D;
    color: #333333 !important;
    font-size: 14px;
    font-weight: bold;
    margin: 0 auto;
    padding: 10px 15px;
    text-shadow: 1px 1px #FFFFFF;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    }
    [/css]

    What do you think Jen?
