Just bought and installed Genesis and the Optimal child theme. Whenever I try to edit the theme (Stylesheet/style.css), the editor goes blank and I am prompted with: “This theme is broken. Template is missing.”

    What should I do?

    Thanks

Go ahead and submit a support ticket, but in the meantime -

I would recommend removing the theme from your hosting site via FTP, and re-installing a clean copy.

    Hello Susan,

I deleted the theme using FTP twice and re-uploaded each time but it didn’t solve the problem.

Funny thing is, I was able to open the theme’s stylesheet once but wasn’t able to do it again. I have no problem opening the stylesheet of Genesis, the Sample theme and my old free theme, PressBlue.

    What gives?

    Thanks
