    A strange problem that I have been living with for a long time. When I create a Genesis child theme I get this odd behavior with the Toolbar menu. ┬áIf I hover over one of the Toolbar’s main list elements then I see the sublist elements but if I hover over on of the sublist elements I get an empty flyout. As an example how the Toolbar is coded by WordPress:

    <div class=”nojq nojs” id=”wpadminbar” role=”navigation”>

    <a class=”screen-reader-shortcut” tabindex=”1″ href=”#wp-toolbar”>Skip to toolbar</a>
    <div class=”quicklinks” id=”wp-toolbar” tabindex=”0″ role=”navigation”>
    <ul class=”ab-top-menu” id=”wp-admin-bar-root-default”>
    <li class=”menupop” id=”wp-admin-bar-wp-logo”>
    <div class=”ab-sub-wrapper”>
    <ul class=”ab-submenu” id=”wp-admin-bar-wp-logo-default”>
    <li id=”wp-admin-bar-about”><a class=”ab-item” href=”http://technology.name.tld/wp-admin/about.php”>About WordPress</a></li>
    </ul>
    <ul class=”ab-sub-secondary ab-submenu” id=”wp-admin-bar-wp-logo-external”>
    <li id=”wp-admin-bar-wporg”><a class=”ab-item” href=”http://wordpress.org/”>WordPress.org</a></li>

    </ul>
    </div></li>
    <li class=”menupop” id=”wp-admin-bar-my-sites”><a class=”ab-item” href=”http://name.tld/wp-admin/my-sites.php”>My Sites</a>
    <div class=”ab-sub-wrapper”>
    <ul class=”ab-submenu” id=”wp-admin-bar-my-sites-super-admin”>
    <li class=”menupop” id=”wp-admin-bar-network-admin”><a class=”ab-item” href=”http://name.tld/wp-admin/network/”>Network Admin</a>
    <div class=”ab-sub-wrapper”>
    <ul class=”ab-submenu” id=”wp-admin-bar-network-admin-default”>

    </ul>
    </div></li>
    </ul>
    </div></li>
    <li class=”menupop” id=”wp-admin-bar-site-name”><a class=”ab-item” href=”http://technology.name.tld/wp-admin/”>Technology@Wooster</a>
    <div class=”ab-sub-wrapper”>
    <ul class=”ab-submenu” id=”wp-admin-bar-site-name-default”>
    <li id=”wp-admin-bar-dashboard”><a class=”ab-item” href=”http://technology.name.tld/wp-admin/”>Dashboard</a></li>
    </ul>
    <ul class=”ab-submenu” id=”wp-admin-bar-appearance”>
    <li id=”wp-admin-bar-themes”><a class=”ab-item” href=”http://technology.name.tld/wp-admin/themes.php”>Themes</a></li>
    <li class=”hide-if-no-customize” id=”wp-admin-bar-customize”><a class=”ab-item” href=”http://technology.name.tld/wp-admin/customize.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Ftechnology.spaces.wooster.edu%2F”>Customize</a></li>
    <li id=”wp-admin-bar-widgets”><a class=”ab-item” href=”http://technology.name.tld/wp-admin/widgets.php”>Widgets</a></li>
    <li id=”wp-admin-bar-menus”><a class=”ab-item” href=”http://technology.name.tld/wp-admin/nav-menus.php”>Menus</a></li>
    </ul>
    </div></li>
    </ul>

    </div>
    </div>

    None of the list elements under the second ab-sub-wrapper class display. What I see is Network Admin but none of the list elements under it, just a white box flyout

    When I hover over menu items they appear correctly. This is in Safari. Capture of the screen here:

    Landon,

    That is on the theme itself and not the WP Toolbar. You need an account with the service to see the WP Toolbar. Here is what I see
