I just switched web hosts. Now Google won’t crawl my site. There are two error messages from Webmaster Tools:
    1. “unreachable robots.txt,”
    2. “Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead.”

Everything was fine before the site migration. Does anyone know what to do?

    1. Your site robots file (http://jacquelineljones.com/robots.txt) looks fine. To quickly get back, clear the robots.txt file (that is empty it) and wait for few days.

    2. Your sitemap url (http://jacquelineljones.com/sitemap.xml) loads nothing. Open sitemap plugin settings page, click to manual generate sitemap again and check for the issue.

Robots file appear fine. On safe side, delete all contents of robots file and wait for few days for crawl back. Your sitemap file is loading nothing. Open sitemap setting and manually generate sitemap to check on this issue.

How do I delete the contents of the robots file? Do I need to replace it with something?

I found a box to check and generated manual backup. The fetch was successful, but Google still claims my site map is html. Do you need to check the debug mode?
