http://www.crazyhints.comDecember 14, 2013 at 1:08 pm #79092nutsandboltsMemberHave you tried the Genesis Simple Edits plugin? It will allow you to change (or remove) what shows in the post info and post meta sections.

http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/post-meta/
http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/post-info/
However, I wouldn't be afraid of plugins - having too many can slow down your site, but only when they act on the front end and run stylesheets, scripts, etc. Plugins like Simple Edits that only act on the WP dashboard won't hurt anything.

December 15, 2013 at 10:49 pm #79379nutsandboltsMemberOh, I see the problem. The function you tried is using an XHTML hook instead of HTML5. Try this one instead:
//* Remove the post meta function remove_action( 'genesis_entry_footer', 'genesis_post_meta' );

Now plz tell me how to remove author meta.
And how to move comment meta below the post.Thanks
December 15, 2013 at 10:58 pm #79382nutsandboltsMemberOkay, if you want the comment info below the post, you'll need to remove the function you just put in (sorry!) and replace it. These will fix all three issues:
//* Customize the post meta function add_filter( 'genesis_post_meta', 'sp_post_meta_filter' ); function sp_post_meta_filter($post_meta) { if ( !is_page() ) { $post_meta = '[post_comments]'; return $post_meta; }} //* Customize the post info function add_filter( 'genesis_post_info', 'sp_post_info_filter' ); function sp_post_info_filter($post_info) { if ( !is_page() ) { $post_info = '[post_date] [post_edit]'; return $post_info; }}
Try that (be sure to remove the function from before) and let me know if it works.

.entry-footer .entry-meta { border-top: 2px solid #f5f5f5; margin: 0 -40px; margin: 0 -4rem; padding: 32px 40px 8px; padding: 3.2rem 4rem 0.8rem; }
You'll want to reduce the padding values until they look the way you want them to. Keep in mind that both the px and rem values need to be changed.
