Hello! I am really hoping someone can help steer me in the right direction on which web form plugin I should use for this project. There are so many plugins out there I don't know where to begin and it's hard to tell which one's fit my criteria.
I work full-time in the shipping & logistics field and looking for a way to automate one particular task that eats up a lot of my time each day - getting quotes for my customers.
So what I would like to do is build a simple page (new domain with a new StudioPress intall) with a web form where my clients can fill in their shipment criteria
* client account number
* number of packages
* address where the packages are being shipped
* size and weight of the packages
* (ideal but not necessary) Metric to Imperial conversion (Ex: If client enter 100 kilograms (k)g the form can convert to pounds (lbs.)Once the client fills in the criteria and hits submit, I'd like the criteria to be sent to several specific email addresses for specific departments within my company who provide quotes.
Also, I'd like the email that is generated by the form to look like it was sent by me from my work email address.
Does anyone have any recommendations on plugins I should use for this? Or if you think there is a better way to accomplish what I am trying to do here please let me know. Assuming a plugin is the way to go but I'm a newbie so not sure.
Your time and feedback are greatly appreciated!
Tim

I know you could do it using Gravity forms which is around $35 a year. This is the best premium option.

Gravity forms can do everything you want, and I think its easier to work with than any other form builder.
I build a form on my website that had 104 different confirmations based on user input, I could never do that with any other form builder. Gravity Forms support is also awesome. My vote, Gravity Forms all the way, worth every freakin penny

It's not a deep feature dive, but highlights the leading forms plugins and fees. I am most familiar with Ninja Forms. You can do a lot with the free version. You can run their demo and see if it works for your needs.
@workky Did you need the Developer, business or basic version of Gravity for your 104-items project?
