I am going to start a new website for a big company with over 30 agents that needs a theme that can comfortably support the traditional IDX broker. Any hints on the best theme to use? They do NOT want to have to add their properties by hand for the website property search to use.
All ideas welcome!

Unfortunately, they no longer sell the TK themes. They (AE) now offer themes built on their own framework called Equity. The advantages of the Genesis TK and Equity themes include superior styling and functionality for IDX Broker content.
Your client's site is very nice, but I can't believe they are still using IDX B's "Original" platform. A new theme will merely be a fresh paint job on a very old car.

The SEO isn't good because Visual Composer conflicts with Yoast products. Our SEO numbers aren't good, so I'm working on it as much as I can. They recommended dsIDXpress, so that's what I used with that site.
For the Berkshire Hathaway office, if you had to create a mobile-ready real estate site for an office of 30 agents, what theme and IDX product would you use? It sounds like you know what you're doing. I would like to stay on the Genesis platform where I can develop locally on DesktopServer.
I don't know what you mean by IDX B's "Original". What IDX should I use? I need to update the whole site.
On Themeforest, I bought 3 themes that said they had built-in real estate searches that worked with IDX, but when I tried them, the search only worked for properties you add to the site yourself. The searches didn't work with IDX at all. I was SO frustrated, and I lost a lot of time. The 4-month development time on Ausart made me do research and find the Genesis platform. I've been using Executive Pro as the child theme.
I want to make sure that I have the right, the best, real estate theme on the Genesis platform and the best IDX product available for this development. I can't spend 4 months ever again on development!!!!
I appreciate your help! M@=)

The key to improving the Berkshire office website is to have them upgrade their IDX Broker service from Original to Platinum or Lite.

Note: IDX Broker Original is no longer offered (for new accounts). They are still supporting it for existing accounts that have held out on upgrading. Original is most like Lite, except Lite is mobile responsive whereas Original requires an APP for phones and tablets.

Also, IDX Broker has mobile-first templates now that do a pretty good job out of the box for resizing on different screens. I still had to do a lot of customizations in CSS but that was more for making it tightly integrated with colors, fonts etc. I hardly had to do any styling regarding mobile.
I prefer IDX Broker because it has the most flexibility with it's myriad of options on the back end, which I think will come in handy for a larger, multi-agent office.

August 27, 2015 at 12:17 pm #163767michelefreeMemberGinger, thank you for your reply.
So you're saying that the old IDX Broker is the right one to stay with for an office with 30 agents?
August 27, 2015 at 4:31 pm #163809IDX LeadsMemberI can't speak for Ginger, but the Mobile First templates to which she refers are only available to Lite & Platinum account holders. If you need some help making this transition I can assist you. IDXLeads.com

No, I was agreeing with Dave in that the key was to upgrade IDX Broker from that older account to the latest, preferably Platinum. Overall I was saying that IDX Broker is a good solution, especially for a larger office with multiple agents.
