I'm using Balance theme
Working on this site: http://lsj.yippymomma.com/
I'm trying to do the following to the header:
This is my header code. I tried to add a width to the bottom width which isn't doing anything
border-top: 60px solid #B8B8B8;
border-bottom: 1px solid #DDDDDD;
margin: 0 auto;
For the white frame, I'm not sure what code I should be hitting. I've looked in firefox and it's saying the #wrap, but I've checked the wrap and made that "0", but that didn't do anything.
margin: 0 auto 10px;
That gray color is actually the top-border to the Header. The header is below the Gray border so there isn't a way to keep that.
For the gray widget area, you will need to move that back in to the #Inner to resize it to 966.
I added the gray border to the #header area in the code above: border-top: 60px solid #B8B8B8;
Would it have been better to add an actual widget?
What was your intended purpose for the gray area?
I'm helping someone setup a WP blog to look like their shopify shop. In their shop, their template has a gray bar at the top where their shopping cart icon and a search box appears. http://www.laurenstjulian.com
You can use one of the other other nav bars to do that or add a widget area up there.
Hadn't thought of that. Will give that a try. Thanks!
