Somehow I've changed the gray color for the page wrapper or there are two settings and only one is changed.

Can someone help me with finding the css code where I can change the color back to what the default was?

Thanks so much,

September 15, 2013 at 2:39 pm #62689PoseyMemberHi Carrie:
Yes I still need help with this. The wrapper is showing up white/clear and I want it to be this hex code #f5fffa.
I s there more than one place for the wrapper code? Does one place over-riding another? And if so what would that be?
Thanks

Under Appearance > Background you can change your body background color to #f5fffa. Does that get the effect you're wanting?

September 15, 2013 at 3:03 pm #62701PoseyMemberWell, I changed the code here and saved and cleared the cache but no change. I want the wrap to be that hex color so that the post/pages look like white paper laying on the pale blue shade. So I'm missing something is it another part of the code?
/* Body
------------------------------------------------------------ */body {
background-color: #f5fffa;
}::-moz-selection {
background-color: #006493;
color: #fff;
}::selection {
background-color: #baee93;
color: #222222;
}September 15, 2013 at 3:18 pm #62705cdilsParticipantAh! Looking at your CSS, this is overriding your settings:
body.custom-background {
background-color: #FFFFFF;
}That bit of code is coming from Appearance > Background. Try modifying your background color and see if it fixes it for ya?
Cheers,
Carrie

September 15, 2013 at 3:45 pm #62708PoseyMemberCarrie,
Sorry, I have looked and looked for that line of code and can't find it.
Can you give me a little more information so that I can find it. It is not included in the body code I showed before so it must be in with something else. I've looked the whole way through the code several times but can't find it.
Thanks,
PoseySeptember 15, 2013 at 3:48 pm #62710cdilsParticipantIf you're in your WordPress admin dashboard and go to the Appearance menu, Background, do you see a color setting there? That's where you need to change it, not in your style.css. 🙂
