It was a combination of using the "Genesis Sandbox Featured Content Widget" instead of "Genesis Featured Posts Widget" and specifying the floats to be used for the images for the featured posts at various sizes using media queries.
Sorry I can't be more specific - it was a long time ago.
algiskMemberNice simple solution - thanks!
algiskMemberThanks! I'll take a look.
algiskMemberI've changed the header dimensions in functions.php to 960 x 250:
/** Add support for custom header */
add_theme_support( 'genesis-custom-header', array( 'width' => 960, 'height' => 250 ) );
but the appearance --> header choice still says 960 x 115 and crops to those dimensions. I also changed the css to the following:
.header-image #title-area,
.header-image #title,
.header-image #title a {
display: block;
float: left;
/*height: 115px;*/
height:250px;
overflow: hidden;
padding: 0;
text-indent: -9999px;
width: 200px;
}
Is there another place where the php has to be changed also?Thanks!

wp-content/plugins/genesis-responsive-slider/bg_control_nav
The top dot is the link color, and the middle dot seems to be the hover and active color.
