Hey, Brenda!
I was searching through the threads for an answer on a different question and in my scrolling saw the http://www.brookemcglothlin.com pop up in your post — I'm actually her designer and recently did her rebrand on her site! 🙂 Small world!
To move your logo to the right side and move your navigation bar to the left side and in line with the logo, simply follow the directions in the Beautiful Pro Theme Setup document...
"HOW TO CONFIGURE THE NAVIGATION MENUS — In the Beautiful Pro theme, the Primary Navigation menu area is not used in the demo. The default navigation area can be disabled by navigating to Appearance > Menus > Manage Locations. Set the Primary navigation to the “Select a Menu” option in the drop down to disable the default Primary Navigation Menu location. The Secondary Navigation area is disabled in the Beautiful Pro theme demo. Be sure to click the “Save Settings” button to preserve your changes.
The main navigation used in the demo of the Beautiful Pro theme is a custom Menu widget placed in the header right widget area. Navigate to Appearance > Menus and create a new menu. Add your menu items. Navigate to Appearance > Widgets. Choose the Custom menu widget and drag it to Header Right. In the widget settings, choose the navigation menu you created. Be sure to click the “Save” button to preserve your changes."
That being said, the space is much smaller and you have more menu items than Brooke did, so you could do a couple things to make it fit — get rid of your HOME item (most people know to click on the logo/header to navigate back to the homepage now), move things like Disclosure and/or Resources to a sidebar link or even in a footer section. The other option would be to fiddle with the CSS and shrink the font size down a bit!
Hope that helps!
Glad you like Brooke's site! 🙂January 14, 2014 at 12:13 am in reply to: Beautiful Pro — Adjusting Title Logo Size and Header Menu #85108Alle McCloskeyMemberAlright, so I've been working on this site all day! @Susan-Nelson — thank you so much for all your advice! You've definitely pointed me in the right direction. However — what I can't figure out is how to adjust that .site-header .widget-area in a way that retains the responsiveness of the theme. Below is the code I used to make the adjustments for where I want the header (I tried all kinds of variations on this and the padding and this was the only thing that could get it where I wanted it). But upon resizing it, or viewing it on a mobile/tablet platform, I'm seeing that the margin-top I added is pushing those pages further down and they are no longer centered. I'm about to pull my hair out. Any thoughts?
.site-header .widget-area {
float: right;
text-align: right;
width: 600px;
margin-top: 140px

Any ideas on the coding I need to adjust to make the navigation bar line up correctly to the left of the logo? Again — trying to mimic the layout of tshoxenreider.com and I can't figure out what I'm supposed to wiggle to get them beside each other and centered correctly.
And the font is Bombshell Pro — little expensive, but worth it! The tagline font is NeoRetroDraw.

But, I'm still stuck on how to make that title/logo area larger? (again, like the example at tshoxenreider.com)
Anyone care to chime in here?

He gave me the code to put it up on all pages, my only issue is that now it doesn't display on my homepage which is set to be my blog?
