Thanks for the tip, Liz, about creating the logo as a .png. I probably should do that. That means I’ll have to retrace my steps, because I can’t even remember exactly how I made it, lol.

Thanks so much, Al! I just made a white header in Gimp, then pasted my logo onto that and uploaded the whole thing. Hope this helps!

Ooh, that is useful! Thanks, wpguy. I just took them with the screenshot camera on my Mac. I’ll check out Snapito and yes, cropping the browser tabs would look more professional. I’m really new to all this. I’ve been playing around like mad with WP the past year and a half or so, but just now throwing my freelancer hat into the ring.

I think your site looks really good. The only thing I didn’t like so much is the italicized font you’re using in the menu and for the headings. Overall, though, I think it looks great!

Overall, I think your site looks really good. I especially like your colors and images. If I had to be picky, I’d say the large text in the header should either be smaller or be a more creative/custom font, like one of the ones from Fontsquirrel or some other site that offers free fonts. Also, the rotating images seemed to rotate a little too quickly for me. You might consider slowing them down.

The only other thing I can think of is that the text below the slider images could be made just a bit shorter, but it’s not really a big deal.

I hope this helps. As I said, I think it looks very good. The navigation and overall readability is also very clear and . . . readable. Good work!

Thank, guys, for the feedback. It’s my first real, true “live” site, so I’m a little nervous! The feedback so far has been positive, though.

I think your site looks great! The only thing (and it’s not a big deal) that caught my eye is that the four home-area widgets almost seem to run together, if you know what I mean. Maybe wider margins between them might help? Really, though, I don’t think that’s a major problem, just something that occurred to me.
