Hi Vivek - if you do decide to release it as a premium theme on your own site, just drop us a line in help desk and we'll let you know the correct guidelines to follow.

Andrea RennickMemberHey everyone - can you each submit support tickets through our help portal?
We see those first and with details, we can get things sorted faster. 😉 Remember, we do not regularly check the community forum for actual support issues.
Thanks!

Andrea RennickMemberIt’s almost as if StudioPress is waiting for someone to buy them up…. Sad….
Studiopress is already merged with Copyblogger Media.
Also Genesis updates are forthcoming. Nathan explained why there weren't any for so long. They simply were not needed.
There's nothing to see here folks.
Studiopress is more than just Brian these days. He's free to write whatever he wishes on his own personal blog.

Andrea RennickMemberYou have it in a 900px wide container.
The slider is responsive, meaning it responds to the size it is in. The image sizes may be 840px, but the space they are in is 900px wide. Thus you get a gap.

June 10, 2014 at 5:52 am in reply to: How do I set up an articles archive without knowing code #108740Andrea RennickMemberWordPress builds archive pages for you by defaults, with any theme. They are date based and author based, plus when you use categories and tags you get those archive pages too.
This happens as soon as you press the publish button.

Andrea RennickMemberYou can start with the sample custom theme we provide as well. It's pretty bare.

Andrea RennickMemberIf you follow the developers on Twitter you will see that it is very much an active project.
Also it is the core of our business - why on earth would we drop it??
Nothing has *needed* updates for the latest version of WordPress, so we do not send out upgrades just for the sake of having something to update. From January to June is only 6 months.
Remember, the bulk of the team also follows core WordPress development os we are aware of any changes that might be needed.

Andrea RennickMemberre: the WP forums. It is there policy to refer people who use paid themes back to the developers. All the forums there are staffed by *volunteers*.
When posting at the wp.org forums, if you do have issues, state what you have done to try and solve it.
". I posted to a photographer to assist him as he wasn’t getting support and I got blocked from the WordPress forums!!"
If you use abusive language, post too often, or complain too much then yes, you will get blocked.

Andrea RennickMemberLogin to http://my.studiopress.com/ and click the Theme Setup link next to the theme download.
It shows how to set the theme up like the demo.
We also do not use bbcode in these forums. It will mark you as a spam post.

Andrea RennickMemberThe built in menu for headers under Appearance -> Header is a core WordPress menu.
It is not specific to our themes and needs to be fixed in WordPress itself.

Andrea RennickMemberResave the permalinks.
Also, you look like you're using a plugin to strip the category from the url. if you have a page called "social media" as well, it could be interfering.
This is a core WordPress issue, not specific to Genesis.

Andrea RennickMemberNote we have no built in caching in our themes. If you;re making changes t the right css file, there's nothing in Genesis to prevent it from showing up on your site.
