No, ther eis no relation. A transaction ID is not needed to extract the zip. The file is not encrypted.

Please note also for the questions that people ask time and again – in the new http://my.studiopress.com/ members area are SETUP links on how to set up each tehme like the demo.
On the right are “Tutorials” and “Code Snippets”
These generally answer about 80% of the theme questions we get.
You do not *need* the old forum logins.
Once things settle down, all the “good stuff” from the old forums will be mined and brought over into the tutorials section.
And yes you can nag me directly.

Also William – not sure what tutorials you were looking at. If you googled, you may have found instrctions for the previous version of Minimum, which was very different.
We do man the help desk over the weekend, but understandably, responses may not be as quick as during a weekday.
The setup instrctions for this theme are right in the http://my.studiopress.com/ under the “SETUP” link.
The instructions are right there, ready fro you to follow, no ticket or forum post needed.

And to repeat myself – for every single theme, in the NEW http://my.studiopress.com/ area, the theme setup instructions are listed right under the link that says “SETUP”.

Look for hte Minimum theme listed.
Click the “Setup” link next to the theme name. That is where the setup instructions are.
You cannot login to the old forums unless you previously had an account there.
That plugin will do nothing for your forum use here. Your avatars for *this forum* are pulled from Gravatar.
Network admin is where all the code updates happen.
When you activate a plugin on the network, you;ce just activated it network-wide, meaning… ALLL sub sites.

Most of the theme have generally the same areas of css, and all the hooks are in the same places on generally all the themes.
Also forum posts CAN be tagged. Please use those tags heavily on your posts.
And some code I have noticed people calling a “fix” when really it is custom work. Changing the theme behaviour to something else is not a fix.

I thought Multisite would allow you to share content across the mother site and child site without having to make updates on each one.
No – that is not what multisite does. Multisite is what wordpress.com uses to let people sign up for individual sites in one installation.
And yes – I do plan on checking in here at some points. The new system is helping to lighten the support load and hopefully one of the things I can get to is more docs!
Also – I need a new avatar. Hair is now pink not blue.
