In order to widen the widget area you will need to -
REDUCE the width here:
#title-area { float: left; overflow: hidden; padding: 15px 0 0; width: 400px; }
INCREASE the width here to the 768px you desire
#header .widget-area { float: right; padding: 25px 20px 0 0; width: 530px; }

AnitaKeymasterWhere did you put it because I don't see the code in there. Look for this:
#footer { background-color: #151515; clear: both; color: #AAAAAA; font-size: 13px; font-weight: 400; }
add this to it -
text-align: center;
It should work.

AnitaKeymasterLet me see if I can get someone to help you. I tried looking at the code and cannot find where to edit it. Give me a couple hours if that much.

AnitaKeymasterNo, not really. You can copy the Functions.php file back over there using FTP and it will come back on.

AnitaKeymasterWhat is the url to your website. Did you modify any plugins or files on the backend?

AnitaKeymasterHow did you upload the theme? Did you manually copy it over via FTP or did you upload it via the Theme Installer in the dashboard.

April 8, 2013 at 1:05 pm in reply to: Do i need a child theme ? and if so which one to do this ? #34058AnitaKeymasterThe forum is not to completely customize and build the website for you. It is to pose your questions on particular things you have problems or issues with. You've outlined that you want the members of the forum to build an entire website for you.
This is a community forum where we volunteer to assist you. This isn't the Support area. Support is handled through my.studiopress.com.
The forum description states:
Official support for StudioPress themes is offered exclusively through the My StudioPress member area. Responses in this forum are not guaranteed.

AnitaKeymasterYou changed it in the functions.php file where it had the header image size?
Love coffee, chocolate and my Bella!
AnitaKeymasterYou should add the logo using Appearance > Header - upload it there.

AnitaKeymasterYou are welcome.

AnitaKeymasterYou need to crop the settings in Functions.php. Go to Functions.php and look for the Header sizes. Change the width and height to you exact logo dimensions and save. Then go and upload the header again. It should work for you.

AnitaKeymasterThis reply has been marked as private.AnitaKeymasterYou'll need BuddyPress and quite a few plugins to make that work. I am pretty good at Buddypress and plugins. I will suggest that you DON'T do like a recent poster to the forum did - He installed anything and everything labeled Buddpress from the plugin repository and blew his entire site away. Everything needs to be installed in a particular order so that you can find conflicts if any along the way.
