AnitaKeymasterMaybe that theme doesn't have that particular navigation built in. But here are the set up instructions - http://my.studiopress.com/setup/modern-portfolio-theme/. But if you want to import the demo content, you will need to Import the XML file that came with your theme.

AnitaKeymasterIf you would like to change the color of the box or customize it - you can do that in your Style.css. Look for:
.enews p { color: #FFFFFF !important; font-size: 16px; padding: 0; text-align: center; text-shadow: -1px -1px #A64242; } .enews #subscribe { padding: 0; } .enews #subbox { background: url("images/email-icon.png") no-repeat scroll 16px 15px #FFFFFF; border-color: #963C3C -moz-use-text-color -moz-use-text-color #963C3C; border-style: solid none none solid; border-width: 1px medium medium 1px; box-shadow: 0 1px 1px 1px #EEEEEE inset; color: #BBBBBB; font-family: Verdana,Arial,Tahoma,sans-serif; font-size: 9px; padding: 14px 15px 14px 45px; text-transform: uppercase; width: 160px; } .enews h4.widgettitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",Times; font-size: 26px; font-weight: normal; margin-bottom: 20px; text-align: center; text-shadow: -1px -1px #A64242; text-transform: none; } #subbutton { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF; color: #555555; margin-top: 15px; text-shadow: 1px 1px #FFFFFF; }
You will see above under ".enews #subbox" the icon for the mail icon.

AnitaKeymasterThe settings for Primary and Secondary are controlled under Genesis > Genesis Settings. You just need to activate them. Then create your menus under Appearance > Menus and set those up.

March 23, 2013 at 6:13 am in reply to: Agentpress – When will it finally be responsive? An unhappy customer :-( #30641AnitaKeymaster@cheapdealhotels, I am a volunteer on the board and not an employee of the SP. While I can certainly understand your frustration, everything comes in time. As a matter of fact, they are having an Agentpress Conference right now. It's not something that they can just whip out on a whim. Everything needs to be considered, not just making the theme responsive, but how all of the plugins will be responsive too - even how third-party plugins will work. So it's a step-by-step process to make sure they work out the kinks. They have a lot of themes and other technology they are working on.
With that said, when you purchased Agentpress at the time - you were completely happy with the product you purchased - it worked fine. Now your needs have grown and you want your product to work in a certain fashion. Making threats to get rid of the platform all together... well, that's just not cool. But if you choose to do that - that's your choice.
But... I offer you this. The AgentPress Plugin works with any Responsive Theme that SP currently offers. Did you know that? Here’s one for you. They are using the Minimum Theme – http://www.hellerusa.com/. The Education Theme is Responsive and you can use the Agentpress Plugin to work with that one. Here is an example of that - http://www.wesellsarasota.com/. So you don't need to just use the Agentpress Theme with the plugin.
Go here - http://my.studiopress.com/themes/ - under Filter Features on the Right, click the down arrow under Theme Features and select Responsive. The plugin will work with any of those themes.
I hope this changes your mind and lessens your frustrations.

AnitaKeymasterLook for this in your style.css file:
#home-top .more-link { background: url("images/read-more.png") repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
Remove that line and save. It will look like a regular link.

AnitaKeymasterLook for this and delete the "border" line:
.property-quick-search { border: 10px solid #FFFFFF; float: right; min-height: 260px; overflow: hidden; padding: 20px; width: 240px; }

AnitaKeymasterYour website comes up if I use the www in the address. Are you still having problems?

AnitaKeymasterIf you are on Multi-Site, I think editing those files would edit them for everyone. You shouldn't edit CORE files.

AnitaKeymasterOh, you are so welcome! Glad to have given you a "pick me up!"

AnitaKeymasterYou should have the Background featured in there. Look under Appearance > Background. When you open that - you will see the fixed setting.

AnitaKeymasterThe area is a widgetized area. You can use the Image Widget (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/image-widget/) to place a single image in there. Or you can use WP-Cycle to put a series of images that can rotate without having to connect to a page or post (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-cycle/).

AnitaKeymasterWhat theme are you using. If an archives.php file exists - you will see it under Appearance > Editor and they will be listed on the right hand side. You should see Functions.php and if an archives was provided it would be there.

AnitaKeymasterIt's because you've confused the categories by using a dash (-) in the category called Exploring Biology. Take the dash out of the title and only use a space. See if that will work for you.

AnitaKeymaster@Sunil, have you received any updates that say you need to update WordPress itself? What's the latest version you are using?

AnitaKeymasterCan you post an actual link to the website? It's best to do that so we can look at the code.

AnitaKeymasterHere's one for you. They are using the Minimum Theme - http://www.hellerusa.com/.
