March 20, 2013 at 2:27 pm in reply to: Enterpise Template Repalce WP-Cycle with Genesis Slider #29793AnitaKeymasterTo change the WP Cycle to Slider try this:
... look for this in Home.php:
if ( function_exists( 'wp_cycle' ) ) wp_cycle();
Replace that with....
dynamic_sidebar( 'home-top-2' );
It should render a sidebar that you can use to place the Genesis Slider into.

AnitaKeymasterI initial had another CSS in there. I just changed it. So make sure you re-read what I wrote above. My apologies if it confused you.

AnitaKeymasterLook for this in your style.css file:
.sidebar { color: #FFFFFF; display: inline; float: right; font-size: 13px; width: 270px; }
Add in your font-family. Here is a sample -
font-family: arial;

March 20, 2013 at 7:45 am in reply to: Facebook not showing photo preview like other blog sites #29676AnitaKeymasterI am seeing all the Open Graph settings in your theme. Have you validate the Share plugin settings? Make sure that all the settings in the "working" site are the same in the "nonworking" site.

AnitaKeymasterHave you tried deactivating one of those to see if the other shows up?

AnitaKeymasterDeactivate Jetpack or edit turn off the Mobile version in Jetpack. Somehow your home page is the mobile version, while the remainder of the site is not. Did you modify any mobile css in your style sheet, add any custom mobile code to your style sheet?

AnitaKeymasterAll of your images need to be at LEAST the same width as the slider setting or they should be landscape. Unfortunately, vertical images do not do well in horizontal sliders - so make sure your images are horizontal. If you can't, then you should crop your image to fit the area. That's the only thing that will make the slider look good. Also, the slider doesn't have the ability to "upsize" an image. So if your image is smaller than the slider width and height, you will have the white space.

AnitaKeymasterLook for this in your style.css. Change the padding to something more like 5. Change the opacity to something like .08.
#content .slide-excerpt {
background-color: #222222;
border-left: 1px solid #333333;
border-top: 1px solid #333333;
margin: 0;
opacity: 1;
padding: 10px;
}

AnitaKeymasterThat text widget is Text-149 and you don't have that listed in your code.

AnitaKeymaster@MoodyRiviera, if you go to your Download under my.studiopress.com, scroll all the way down and you will see the link Bonus and Retired Themes. You will see a lot more themes in there - all of the ones @genedavid mentioned are now in your account.

AnitaKeymasterIf you have the site set up like the demo - they have checked off all the same features, prices, etc. You need to open up each property and uncheck anything that is not applicable to that property. Then the search will pull the correct results.

AnitaKeymasterThey are good. I especially like Bee Crafty (for functionality), Delicious, Midnight, Pixel Happy, and Social Eyes.
