@aagraphics try adding this. I know it was asked for in the Slack group.
Mike gave this:
@media only screen and (max-width: 1400px) { /* align the last menu item's sub-menu to the right so it's not outside of the window */ .header-before .genesis-nav-menu > .menu > .menu-item:last-child > a:focus + ul.sub-menu, .header-before .genesis-nav-menu > .menu > .menu-item:last-child.sfHover > ul.sub-menu, .header-before .genesis-nav-menu > .menu > .menu-item:last-child:hover > .sub-menu, .header-right .genesis-nav-menu > .menu > .menu-item:last-child > a:focus + ul.sub-menu, .header-right .genesis-nav-menu > .menu > .menu-item:last-child.sfHover > ul.sub-menu, .header-right .genesis-nav-menu > .menu > .menu-item:last-child:hover > .sub-menu { left: auto; right: 0; } }
See if that works.

AnitaKeymasterThe top
admin
is the title of the page. The second one is coming from theauthor bio
. It looks like you may have repositioned the author bio to display at the top instead of below or some other configuration. A link to the site would be better for use to view the source.

AnitaKeymasterSearch the WordPress plugin repository for database cleaners.

AnitaKeymaster@wakasm check out @braddalton post here. See if that will work for you.

AnitaKeymaster@wakasm you are referring the background header image correct? Where do you want to add the image that has the text on it? Where will it display.

AnitaKeymasterYou may want to submit a ticket to StudioPress regarding that since it's not included in the theme code. SP may not be supporting IE. I know some theme developers to not support IE or Edge at all.

April 20, 2020 at 4:32 pm in reply to: If I choose a child theme, am I fully committing to the way the demo looks? #498086AnitaKeymasterYou can build out a home page like that with the Gutenberg blocks and/or Atomic Blocks. It's a pretty simple layout and shouldn't take that long to build the structure. Customizing it with the fonts and colors probably would be your more time consuming part being a novice to WordPress. Any one of the Gutenberg enabled themes would be fine for that home page layout because you'd be building it on your own.

AnitaKeymasterYou're welcome.

AnitaKeymasterWhat theme are you using? Some themes have a plugin auto installer for recommended plugins and some do not. If I know what theme you are using I can tell you. But typically, it's a recommended plugin if you want to connect your newsletter. The official name is Genesis eNews Extended - https://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-enews-extended/.

AnitaKeymasterYou can do that in the Posts area. Start with the first category you want by going to Posts, check off each post you want to update into a new category. Then click the Bulk button and select Edit. The edit window will open and you can place all of the ones you want into a new or updated category.
Or maybe try this plugin. I've used it once where you can update everything via a spreadsheet in the dashboard. I tend to use my previous succession so I don't have a lot of plugins.

AnitaKeymasterWhat do you mean by "reorganize" your categories?

AnitaKeymasterYou're welcome! Just as an example of how they included the styling in Magazine Pro which wasn't included in Eleven40.

AnitaKeymaster@nfabiox85 I added the snippet you can use to a short blog post here.
Give that a try.

AnitaKeymasterThe links are identified by the
a
and is a border not an underline.a { border-bottom: 1px dotted #333; color: #333; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; }
Modify that for all links in the site that have that dotted border.

April 19, 2020 at 4:47 am in reply to: Featured Posts Widget Formatting & Rename Mobile Menus #498056AnitaKeymasterYou said a custom theme by a theme designer? You contacted the designer, but who is it? Which theme is it? Link to your website? And what plugin? Genesis comes with the Featured Post widget. It is not a separate plugin.

AnitaKeymastereleven40 came out before StudioPress started adding styling to the CSS for WooCommerce, i.e., Magazine Pro's Shop page. You may see some styling issues, but can't say for sure. You will need Genesis Connect for WooCommerce if you decided to go that route.

AnitaKeymasterI am going to close this thread as the original author changed their site from Magazine Pro to an Astra theme.

AnitaKeymasterHi @hellorockview we'd all love to help you but 1) you didn't provide a URL, 2) you didn't provide your code that you're using and 3) you didn't specify what theme you're using. So we'd kinda be fumbling in the dark on this.
Check out this page to see how to drop your snippet in here - https://studiopress.community/faq/.
Someone can take a look we jump back online.

AnitaKeymasterThe way Executive Pro was created, you wouldn't be able to create a new widget to be inserted in the home page. In the front-page.php file, copy one of the widget areas and past it where you want it, rename it. Then in functions copy that widget and give it the name you put in the functions file.
