You might get a better response to what you need by joining the Coblt Apps, Genesis and/or Beaver Builder groups on Facebook.

AnitaKeymasterYou also should be able to log in to your hosting account, go to File Manager and update the file there. Just make a copy of the file first.

AnitaKeymasterYou can do that with any theme using the block editor and Atomic Blocks or Ultimate Gutenberg Blocks.

AnitaKeymasterGo to the Genesis Settings, then Content Archives. You can set it up for Excerpts or Content Limit.

February 10, 2020 at 11:00 am in reply to: Before CTA Footer Not Working Properly on Mobile (Navigation Pro) #496616AnitaKeymasterHi @oliveskate it's working as it should. I don't believe StudioPress intended on the mobile version to work the same as desktop or like Monochrome.

AnitaKeymasterGenesis 3.0 changed how the blog page works by removing the blog template. See Changelog. Log in to your StudioPress account and the full instructions are there.
* In the Name field, enter or select query_args.
* In the Value field, enter cat=all. All posts from all categories will be displayed on the page.
* Click Add Custom Field to preserve your settings.I'd suggest logging into your StudioPress account and familiarize yourself with the tutorials and snippets they have there. A lot of very useful information there.

AnitaKeymasterYou can set up your website like what you have there now with any of the Genesis themes.

February 9, 2020 at 10:13 am in reply to: Navigation Pro: Hide "ShareThis buttons" on top of Blog Page #496578AnitaKeymasterIf you cannot control that within the ShareThis plugin, you can hid it with CSS:
.blog #st-1 { display: none; }

AnitaKeymasterI'm not familiar with that. That's new to me. It gives instructions on how to use them on desktop and mobile. If they are not working for you, probably post on the WordPress Forum. You'll probably get a better response there.

AnitaKeymasterLooks like they removed the "smilies" in 4.3. They recommendeded that you could use this plugin to keep emoticons as text. It's only one line of code which is set to
false
. If you add this line of code to your functions (I changedfalse
totrue
) the smilies, as they call them, will appear when published. They may still show up in the editor, but I think that's based on the theme you are using. I added it to a test site and it works for me.add_filter( 'option_use_smilies', '__return_true' );

February 7, 2020 at 7:07 pm in reply to: Can't make featured images work on individual pages and posts in Breakthrough #496548AnitaKeymasterYou may want to send in a support ticket on that if it's not performing as it should.

AnitaKeymasterWhat do you mean by:
the media does not change to the new theme
.
Can you explain in more detail? What theme do you have and what theme are you switching to?

AnitaKeymasterGenesis Featured Widget Amplified is a third-party plugin. It's not an official StudioPress plugin. You might want to post on the plugin page for support - https://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-featured-widget-amplified/.

AnitaKeymasterYou can do that with a plugin. Check the plugin repository to see what might work best for you.

February 7, 2020 at 10:44 am in reply to: Can't make featured images work on individual pages and posts in Breakthrough #496536AnitaKeymasterI think that is only to place a default image at the very top of the pages and posts to keep the flow throughout the site. I don't think that was intended to be used for pulling featured images for the posts and pages in the widgets. Is that what you are trying to do?

February 7, 2020 at 9:48 am in reply to: Can't make featured images work on individual pages and posts in Breakthrough #496534AnitaKeymasterI didn't realize that there was a "default" featured image or "fall back" featured image function in Breakthrough Pro. Is it? Or did you add a plugin to do that?

Customise
area, but Featured Images for Pages and Posts are set up on each page/post individually.

February 6, 2020 at 6:02 pm in reply to: Help!! 11 Yrs gone — Error establishing a database connection #496521AnitaKeymasterThere's really nothing we can do from a database perspective because the database resides on your hosting providers servers. But if you would like to me to take a further look to see if I can help in anyway recover some of your information, send me a message on my website which is listed in my profile footer.

AnitaKeymasterFor the body add this to the Additional CSS box. That will change the body font and the font in the sidebar.
body, .sidebar { color: #HEX_COLOR; }
