I see a full blog entitled “The Undeniable Impact of Mobile Communication” at the top. Then below it – there are two columns of previous blogs. In the left column (column 1) I see “Success Matters in the Marketing World” and in the right column (column 2) “San Francisco and the Rise of Silicon Valley”.
What do you see?

They also have this Generate Box that looks nice. Maybe it would fit your theme – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/generate-box/.

You have to end the first column with
</div>
Then to start the second column, you begin with:
<div class="one-half">
….. then end it with
</div>
Column #1 has the word “first” in it. Column #2 doesn’t.

Then drag a Featured Post over to the widget area of your choice. Select the category and the settings you want, save and that’s it.
